Questions people actually ask
What exactly is included in Qualis Start?
Everything you need to run stock control: products and their units of measure, warehouses and storage locations, lot and serial tracking, inventory adjustments to book stock in and out, and live on-hand quantities per location. Plus your client and supplier records, tasks and document management. Unlimited users, unlimited records, no expiry. Buying, selling and making are on Qualis Complete. The table above lists exactly which modules are included.
What is an operator seat?
A shop-floor seat for the people who do the work rather than plan it. Operators can run production and work orders, carry out maintenance jobs, pack shipments, and look up stock and lots. They cannot see costs, prices or margins, approve anything, or change master data and settings. That is why they cost less than an office seat.
How do the free operator seats work?
Every office seat you pay for includes 2 operator seats at no charge. You only pay for operators beyond that allowance. Five office seats, for example, cover ten operators before a single operator seat is billed.
What happens when I add or remove a seat mid-month?
Seats you add are billed straight away, prorated for the rest of the current period. Seats you remove are not credited for the period you have already paid for, and the lower seat count takes effect from your next billing period. Because that period is already paid for, the seat stays yours: hand it to someone else before your next renewal and it costs nothing extra. You are only charged again when you go above the highest seat count you were billed for in that period.
What happens if I go over my storage?
Every account includes 2 GB free, and each paid seat adds 5 GB. Beyond that, storage is charged per GB per month at the rate shown in your billing settings — and only if you switch metered overage on.
What happens if I cancel?
Your paid modules switch off at the end of the period you already paid for and your account drops back to Qualis Start. Your data stays put — nothing is deleted, and re-upgrading brings it all back.
How do payments and VAT work?
Our reseller Paddle handles checkout as Merchant of Record. They collect your country and VAT details at checkout, apply the right tax, and issue the invoice.
Will my price go up later?
Not at renewal. If we change list prices, active subscriptions keep the price they started on. That is the founding-price promise, and it is written into our terms.
